LeBron James Sends Heartfelt Message To Bronny On His Birthday

LeBron James is the best basketball coach you will ever get, and his son Bronny has the privilege to learn from the GOAT.

Bronny celebrated his 15th birthday on Sunday. In other words, he will probably join the NBA in a few years. Of course, we can’t say he will do that for sure, but Bronny has a real chance of being a basketball star.

LeBron wrote an emotional message for his son, calling him “young king.”

“Happy Born-Day Young King” LeBron wrote. “You continue to make me proud to say you’re my son/I’m your pops! And you also continue to inspire me just as much!! Love you kid”

LeBron knows that his son has a lot to offer, and issued a warning for everyone in a recent post.

“Expect a kid that will play for his teammates,” he wrote on Instagram. “Will work hard, pay his dues and when his number is called he’ll make mistakes like any kid but will be ready and coached very well. Someone who doesn’t care about rankings cause the only thing that matters is his team success.”

But, there’s one thing LeBron would change for sure. Bronny’s name. The Lakers star still regrets naming his son after him.

“I still regret giving my 14-year-old my name because of that. Like, when I was younger I didn’t have a dad. So my whole deal was, when I have a kid, not only is he going to be a junior, I’m gonna do everything that this man didn’t do. They’re going to experience things I didn’t experience. The only thing I can do is give them the blueprint and it’s up to them to take their own course whenever that time comes.”

The good news is, LeBron and Bronny may get a chance to play together.

“I would love to see the floor with my son,” LeBron said. “My son is in the eighth grade now, if he continues on the path that he’s on right now, he could possibly be in the NBA in five or six years. That would be an unbelievable moment not only for myself but for my family, for everybody. So we’ll see. Obviously taking care of the body is number one, and we’ll continue to do that. “That would be pretty dang cool if I were able to be on the NBA floor with my oldest son.”
