Photos: LeBon And Savannah James Bring In ‘Project Runway’ Star for Halloween Costumes

Lakers star LeBron James and his wife Savannah were pretty serious about their Halloween celebration. The famous couple used the help of a Project Runway star! Hair, makeup and accessories. Everything was perfect, thanks to Michael Costello.

LeBron was Edward Scissorhands, and the beautiful Savannah was Medusa, the snake-haired monster from Greek mythology.

Kyle Kuzma was invited to the party, and he arrived dressed as the rapper Boo Face. JaVale McGee was Beetlejuice, and that’s actually a costume LeBron wanted for himself. His trainer, Mike Mancias, was dressed as the Penguin, a “Batman” villain. His costume was so real, that none of the partygoers recognized him until they share a word with him.

“Dwight,” Kuzma said after Thursday’s practice Thursday when asked about the best costume. “For sure. He was Rasputia. You didn’t see it? Let me show you. It might be pulled up already. One second, right here.”

The young Laker showed Howard dressed in a suit of an obese woman wearing pink lingerie. It’s actually a character who was played by Eddie Murphy in the movie “Norbit.”

Lakers star Anthony Davis was dressed as the Joker — the version from the movie “Suicide Squad.” He didn’t like the suggestion by one reporter suggestion that that version of the “Batman” villain was the most controversial.

But, everyone had a lot of fun, including LeBron. Although his “hands” were too heavy, LeBron was more bugged by the fact that he couldn’t hold a drink.

“It wasn’t the fact of how heavy they were,” he said of the scissors affixed to his hands for the look. “It was the fact that I couldn’t hold a drink.”

LeBron needed 3½ hours to get ready for the big Halloween party. Edward Scissorhands’ life isn’t one he goes after.

“It’s a sad movie to be honest, man,” LeBron said. “A guy living by himself and being lonely, being misunderstood. I wouldn’t want to be in that situation. But [Johnny] Depp definitely aced that role for sure.”

We couldn’t agree more.

LeBron and his teammates are doing good this season. They lost the season opener to the Los Angeles Clippers, but they won every other game.
