Watch: Kid Breaks Down in Tears After Meeting LeBron James

Meeting LeBron James is such an honor for those who love basketball. The Lakers star knows how to make fans happy, and this time he surprised a young fan.

When asked if he can say hi, LeBron asked the kid’s name and then calmed him down.

“Sam? Nice to meet you, man,” LeBron said. “Don’t let nobody see you cry, alright?” LeBron told the kid.

Sam Casbarro was overwhelmed with emotions, and he couldn’t hold his tears.

In an Instagram post, the boy thanked LeBron for appearing in his video.

When it comes to LeBron, he is stuck in the middle of the GOAT debate.

“Any time I’m even mentioned with the greats that played this game and guys before me who laid the path, laid the grounds in this work and allowed me to be in this position, it’s always humbling and gratifying for my city,” he said. “Just knowing where I come from, some of you guys know where I come from that’s been there and some of you guys haven’t, but where I come from,there’s not many of us. It’s very limited. It’s very, very limited inspirations. Very limited resources. Very limited everything. So for me to be in this position where I’m at today, it’s just a blessing.”

Shannon Sharpe is convinced that he is the best.

“LeBron is the GOAT,” he said. “The reason why I say Lebron James is the best is because I saw Michael Jordan win the title on a 57-win team Bulls, retire, and then they won 55 games. They were a horrible call away from getting to the Eastern Conference finals. I saw LeBron James leave Cleveland, they won the lottery. I saw LeBron James go to Miami, they go to the finals four straight times and win two. He leaves, and with two hall-of-fame players, they missed the play-offs.”

Lakers legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar says LeBron will have a good season. The king had a terrible debut with the Lakers, but he is ready to play his best game this season.“I think LeBron will have a good season,” Abdul-Jabbar said. “The groin injury was unfortunate. It all depends on how they intend to play and how much depth they have around him. LeBron and Davis are two good guys on the court working together. It’s unfortunate that DeMarcus Cousins couldn’t uphold his end of it physically. He’s had too many problems. But when he played with Davis down in New Orleans, they were pretty much simpatico. That would’ve been a really good match. I felt sorry for him in that sense.”
