Watch: Phillip Dorsett Shows Off Vocal Skills At Karaoke Fundraiser

Phillip Dorsett is an incredibly talented player, and he has helped the Patriots win games. Well, it looks like football isn’t the only passion Dorsett has. The man can sing really well! Dorsett showed off his talent during Duran Harmon’s Austim Awarenes karaoke fundraiser Monday night.

He chose the 1992 hit “Come And Talk To Me” by Jodeci. Yes, we will definitely say that he can sing, and this is as surprising as it gets.

The receiver has become one of Tom Brady’s go-to options in the clutch. He decided to make a notable switch this season. The back of his jersey — and the electronic placard above his locker — reads Dorsett II. It’s in honor of his dad.

“I wouldn’t be who I am today without my dad, and obviously he’s the first,” the 26-year-old wideout explained. “I just wanted to acknowledge him, because I play for him and my family. He’s the reason you see Phillip Dorsett II here today. He made me who I am.”

The proud dad first noticed it while checking out Twitter in the preseason.

“It almost brought tears to my eyes,” he said. “A very proud moment.”

When it comes to Dorsett’s game in this season. He is doing a great job on the field.

“We’re happy that we got a win, it doesn’t matter how we got it,” he said after the game. “That team is a really good team and they were 3-0 for a reason. They’re one of the best defenses in the league for a reason; they played excellent together, all in the right space at the right time and they knew how to play. I give all credit to the Bills.”

Dorsett is well aware of the fact that the Bills have an excellent defense, and he believes that a team’s defense can “solve” situations like this.

It’s good to know that he isn’t concerned about the game and the struggles New England’s offense had. There’s no room for disappointment and excuses. Everyone is trying to play their best football, and their best is yet to come. The Washington Redskins are next on the list.
