Watch: Rob Gronkowski Train Like A Beast On Football Field

Rob Gronkowski retired in March, and the Patriots nation can’t get over the loss. Everyone thought that the tight end would go for another season, but Gronk made an official announcement. He was on and off with the retirement topic, but there are some people who say that Gronk may eventually come back.

The tight end announced his partnership with CBDMEDIC, and our hopes went down the hill. But, there’s a video of him working out on a football field. What does that mean?

Probably nothing. Gronk was in pain, and he promised to recover first.

“[The injuries] took an absolute beating on my mind and my soul. I was hurt both mentally and physically, day in and day out,” Gronkowski said last month. “I decided to walk away from the game for one reason: I had to recover.

“It’s crazy. I understand. I feel that love. But I want to be clear to my fans: I needed to recover. I was not in a good place. Football was bringing me down. And I didn’t like it. And I was losing that joy in life. Like, the joy. I’m sorry right now,” the retired tight end said, fighting through tears. “But … I really was. And I was fighting through it. And I knew what I signed up for and I knew what I was fighting through, and I knew I just needed to fix myself.”His former teammate and good friend, Tom Brady talked about the chance to have Gronk back.

“He’s spoken on that quite a few times,” the quarterback told Jim Gray. “I think he’s very happy with how things are going in his life, and I think we’re going with the guys that we’ve got. That’s what we’re planning on, and that’s all we can ever do. It’s always his choice, and he’s a young guy, but that’s certainly not any of my thinking at this point.”

Some said that Brady has the power to bring Gronk back in the fold. Unfortunately, Gronk doesn’t agree with this rumor.

“No, I wouldn’t say so,” Gronkowski answered on The Adam Schefter Podcast. “I’m truly enjoying my time off, truly enjoying what I found getting into business. I’ve got a lot of things dropping in the next couple of weeks, with my brothers [and] family. I’m really staying busy with it.”
