Skip Bayless Claims Edelman is on a Path To the Hall of Fame

Edelman belongs to the Hall of Fame for everything he has done for the New England Patriots, and Skip Bayless approves.

Bayless made a strong argument on behalf of the receiver’s legacy. FS1’s host believes that Edelman may be bound for Canton one day.

Edelman doesn’t really have strong numbers for the regular season, but his postseasons are always golden. He is No. 2 all-time in playoff catches and receiving yards. NFL legend Jerry Rice is No. 1.

The receiver has played in 18 postseason games, and Rice played 29. According to Skip Bayless, this is more than impressive.

The Hall of Fame topic was reopened after Rice said that Edelman has the best footwork in the league. This will sure give Edelman motivation to play even better. Rice also mentioned that it’s impossible to cover Edelman, because he is able to get separation from players and make a catch. The legend is also amazed with Edelman’s physicality, and the way he throws his body all over the field. That’s how you win a game.

TB12: Julian in the Hall of Fame

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is the most obvious first-ballot Hall of Famer in the history of sports. TB12 agrees with Bayless that his teammate belongs to the Hall of Fame conversation.

Brady and Julian have built such a nice relationship, and their chemistry is of great help for the team. The quarterback trusts Edelman, and he is his primary target. Although Edelman saw less targets at the beginning of the season, Brady still considers him a favorite. You can see that by the way they work together on the field.

Julian will have to work a lot more to earn his spot in the Hall of Fame, and he still has so much to offer.

The Super Bowl MVP is part of the best offense New England has ever had. He is aging, but he plays the best football this season. Regardless of whether you admit that, Edelman will have a few more great seasons.
