Josh Gordon Broke Silence On Patriots’ Decision To Waive Him

The New England Patriots wanted Josh Gordon when no other team wanted him. The Cleveland Browns were desperately trying to get rid of him, and the Patriots were pleased to have the troubled player on their roster. Head coach Bill Belichick found a perfect use for Gordon, and then he decided to take care of his mental health. Soon after this, the NFL suspended the receiver. Gordon was reinstated in August, and Patriots players couldn’t wait to have him back on the field.

Well, Gordon suffered an injury, and although he felt good enough to play a game, the Patriots placed him on injured reserve. It was more than obvious that they’d cut him once he is completely healthy. The Seattle Seahawks signed him, and it looks like they were the only player who was interested in Gordon’s skills.

The receiver admitted to the Seattle Times’ Bob Condotta that he was surprised by the decision, adding that he understands the business of things.

According to Edelman, a player can be short-lived anywhere. A lot of things can happen day to day in the league. However, the Patriots made a decision, and Gordon is happy to be with the Seahawk.

This is definitely a response that reflects “The Patriot Way” from Gordon. He will now have a chance to play with his friend and MVP-candidate, Russell Wilson, with the Seahawks.

N’Keal Harry to replace Josh Gordon

The release of Gordon led to the activation of N’Keal Harry. The rookie will probably get a chance to play against the Philadelphia Eagles. But, former Patriots linebacker Tedy Bruschi is worried about this. He expected to see Harry in the game against the Baltimore Ravens. But, Harry wasn’t on the field.

Bruschi asked a bunch of questions about the rookie. Is it possible that New England doesn’t want him on the field? Did they made a mistake by drafting him in the 2019 NFL Draft? It’s a long season, so we can just wait and see what happens next. Maybe Harry will get a chance to make a debut with the Patriots. He is a great player after all.  Good luck, Harry!
