Report: Tom Brady Told Alex Guerrero He Can Play Until 46 or 47

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is 42, and he plays his best football. Thanks to his longtime body coach and business partner, Alex Guerrero, Brady may play a few more seasons.

Guerrero had a rare interview with WEEI’s “Greg Hill Show” on Thursday morning, and discussed several topics, including Brady’s longevity, his status with the Patriots and the contract situation. Brady’s body coach also discussed his relationship with Patriots head coach Bill Belichick.

Let’s not forget that Brady turned 42 in August, and he plans to play until he’s 45. Guerrero is convinced that Brady can play much more than that. Brady even told him that he can play until 46 or 47.

Brady’s body coach didn’t reveal much about the quarterback’s plans for the next season. TB12 signed a contract extension his summer, and the deal includes two voidable years. In other words, Brady will become a free agent in March if he and the Patriots don’t sign another contract extension.

Alex Guerrero and Belichick are good

When it comes to his relationship with Belichick, Guerrero says it’s great. He even revealed that the head coach received treatment at the TB12 facility. Reports of the alleged tension between Body’s body coach and head coach were the base of the bombshell story by Seth Wickersham in January 2018. There were so many rumors about this tension, and some even said that Brady’s body coach wasn’t allowed on the sidelines. Others claimed that Guerrero isn’t allowed to fly with the Patriots. It looks like none of this is true.

Brady’s great game is a result of his hard work and pliability. The GOAT would rather have pliable muscles than building stiff muscle mass. He takes a really good care of his body, and follows a specific diet regimen. No nightshades, no refined sugar. Coffee is not on the menu either. Brady is pretty serious about his success with the Patriots, and he wants to win a few more Super Bowls. Let’s be honest, there’s a really big chance for him to own ten rings. He already has six. If Brady lays until 47, he can get a few more.
