Patriots To Attend Kaepernick’s NFL Workout Saturday

Quarterback Colin Kaepernick will hold a private workout at the Atlanta Falcons facility. The quarterback wasn’t given no notice and hours to agree to terms. He will work out for representatives from an undetermined number of NFL teams.

Pretty much everyone in this country knows the story behind Colin Kaepernick’s absence. He hasn’t played a NFL game since 2016. According to many experts, this is the best chance for the quarterback to get another shot in the league. Kaepernick’s friend Eric Reid of the Carolina Panthers labeled this workout as a “PR stunt” by the NFL.

This workout offers a set of challenges for the quarterback and teams interested in his skills. Although this is arranged as pro day for the veteran.

Saturday is a big day for Kaepernick

Let’s be honest. The NFL picked this Saturday, because you can’t really pick a good day 11 weeks into the NFL season. Tuesdays are off for most teams in the league, especially those who have played Sundays. Teams are also hosting players at their practices for other positions. Head coaches and position coaches can be involved in the game-planning for the next match. It’s literally impossible to assemble 32 general managers and head coaches in a single location on any day during the regular season.

Saturdays are a bad choice. Head coaches can’t just leave their players at the hotel and travel to Flowery Branch, GA., for Kaepernick’s workout.

Did Kaepernick need a little more lead time? According to on scout, the NFL never does things last minute. This is unprecedented, and this may not go in favor of players out of the NFL looking for the league to help them with their second shot.

Kaepernick got more notice for this workout than most other players in similar position.

We don’t have much details of Kaepernick’s workout. Who will lead the workout? It may be a quarterbacks coach or a former quarterback. But, we do believe that Kaepernick will do his best to show off. He is a skilled player, and he better use this chance. It’s a big day for the quarterback.
