Photo: LeBron 17 “Win-Win” Nods to Basketball’s Next Generation

LeBron James has had one of the most successful on-the-court careers in NBA history. He continues to break records year after year and so far, it doesn’t look like he is stopping anytime soon. But it isn’t only on the court where he is finding success. He is also a very savvy entrepreneur.

We all know that LeBron has some pretty awesome shoes. Well, it looks like he is going to be adding a few more pairs to his already impressive collection starting very soon.

LeBron, Nike, and New York-based Harlem Fashion Row are teaming up to release one of his newest pair of shoes called “Win-Win.” LeBron is killing it on and off the court and it doesn’t look like he will be stopping anytime soon.

Tinker Hatfield, the VP of innovation for Nike has been with LeBron from the beginning and he is just as excited of any of us on LeBrons move to LA and his future endeavors.

“I think we’re all excited about the fact that LeBron is really still interested in winning more championships. He’s coming to LA to do that. We’re all excited to participate. If we can help him do that by, first of all, designing a product that helps him play at his highest level, that’s job one. Job two, of course, is how can we leverage his personality moving to LA and kind of build a nice story around that. And then, of course, from that, style can be unique and interesting and it can be what I would call a groundbreaking kind of product.”

It seems like everyone is very happy for LeBron following this announcement and they should be. Even a long time friend chimed in during at interview with GQ.

“It’s a fantastic deal,” Maverick Carter. “Nike feels great about the deal. That’s the most important thing. As great as I feel, as great as LeBron feels—Nike feels fantastic about it. It’s the largest deal in the history of the company. Their hope is he makes even more. And our hope is that, too, obviously.”LeBron is preparing for the upcoming season, and we will definitely see him wearing these shoes.”
