LeBron James Reacts To Reaching 33,000 Career Points

Lakers superstar LeBron James scored 29 points in the game against the New Orleans Pelicans. The king reached 33,000 career points, and joined Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Karl Malone and Kobe Bryant. It was an incredible game for him, and his reaction was amazing.

LeBron took to his Instagram account to express his emotions, and fans went crazy.

Anthony Davis was excellent. He scored 41 points despite the boos on his address. This made Davis the only player to score this number of points against a former team. He scored 27 points in the first half of the game, and gave the team a good of the match. The former Pelican  injured his arm, but it didn’t slow him down and he finished 41 points. The most points scored by a player against a former team prior to this match was 39. Kevin Durant, Stephon Marbury and Danny Ainge scored 39 points against a former team.

Davis was welcomed with boos, and his teammate Kyle Kuzma had a message for all the Pelicans fans. The former Pelican exchanged jerseys with Jrue Holiday, and also visited the Pelicans locker room. He met with Zion Williamson to discuss his injury.

Great career points

Davis left the Smoothie King Center feeling grateful for both organizations he’s played for. This was once in a lifetime experience, and Davis will never forget the big night.

“I’m thankful,” Davis said following the game. “Thankful for this guy, No. 23 [LeBron James]. Thankful for the Lakers organization… I’m thankful for the Pelicans organization. They sent me here… they were great to me. We’re moving forward and trying to focus on something great with the Lakers.”

LeBron waited for his teammate to finish his walk off interview and they embraced each other.

It was an important game for the Lakers, and the team actually won the ninth win in a row. Los Angeles has had a great start of the season, and they are off to a better game. NBA seasons are really long, and it’s too early to make a prediction, but it looks like LeBron will be able to keep his promise. He is about to give the Lakers their first title since Kobe Bryant’s retirement. Hopefully, he will stay healthy, and Davis better watch his arms. The Lakers can’t have an injury at this point of the season.
