Kyler Murray Can Make You Feel Old With His LeBron James-Michael Jordan Comparison

We spotted Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray courtside at Talking Stick Resort Arena Tuesday night for the game between the Phoenix Suns and Los Angeles Lakers.

Murray was shocked. He was surprised. It felt like LeBron is Michael Jordan to kids his age. Murray was really thrilled to watch LeBron up so close. The king of basketball even acknowledged him, and the whole experience was really awesome.

The Cardinals quarterback is 22 which means he was 6 when LeBron entered the NBA. Murray witnessed LeBron’s success on the field. He was watching him all these years. When it comes to Michael Jordan, Murray had seen him play three seasons, so he doesn’t really remember much. But, he sure remembers the great basketball player he watched that night. LeBron was so close, and Murray felt like a kid.

“It was crazy for me just because I mean he’s like Michael Jordan to kids my age,” Murray said Wednesday. “Getting to watch him up close and then him acknowledging me at the end was pretty dope.”

The quarterback isn’t the only starstruck about this meeting with LeBron. Arizona running back Chase Edmonds was super thrilled, too.

“I was already giving him some stuff about it,” the Arizona running back said. “Just telling him he was the man. He got the dap with LeBron. He was feeling himself. But that was a cool experience for him, and he deserves it … It’s definitely game recognizes game. Especially when it’s LeBron James. He’s not taking the time to dap up everybody that’s courtside.”

They didn’t exchange comments during their first meeting on Tuesday night. But, words weren’t necessary.

There’s an ongoing debate over the greatest basketball player in the NBA. It’s always LeBron and Jordan. LeBron is hitting milestones with every game he plays, and the king won’t stop until he wins a title with his current team.

That’s why LeBron came to Los Angeles. To win a title. He couldn’t do that in his first season with the team, but he can definitely do that this season. In 2018, LeBron was surrounded by young players who had hard time building chemistry on the floor. This year, he plays with Anthony Davis, and they are winning games. Winning is more important than anything else, and LeBron is winning. He is used to the big game, and seeing him miss the playoffs last season was really sad. Every athlete felt bad for the king. Everyone knows that he likes to win, and the groin injury “killed” his chance to win.

Let’s hope that the Lakers will continue their winning streak. It’s a big season for everyone, and they have to convince Davis to stay on the roster next season.
