Patriots Give Update On Phillip Dorsett’s Status Vs. Cowboys

Receiver Julian Edelman connected with Phillip Dorsett for a touchdown, and this connection resulted in a concussion. Dorsett is a key player in the Patriots team, and the team is optimistic about his condition. New England believes Dorsett has a good chance of clearing concussion protocol ahead of Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys.

Jeff Howe of The Athletic reported there’s an optimism in the organization regarding Dorsett’s status for the game. Dorsett missed practice due to his concussion, but there’s a huge chance for him to come back. It’s impossible to make a prediction regarding the recovery time players need to get ready, but Dorsett’s situation may be different.

Dorsett increased his practice participation Thursday, and took part in positional drills after being listed as “did not participate” on Wednesday. It looks like Dorsett wasn’t cleared for contact.

New England had Mohamed Sanu back on practice, and he was a limited participant Thursday. Dorsett played in nine of the Patriots’ 10 games this season. He was able to catch 26 passes for 332 yards and five touchdowns.

Will Phillip Dorsett play against the Cowboys?

The Patriots are trying to stay on track, and they lost just one game in the regular season. It was a match against the Baltimore Ravens, and Lamar Jackson gave them a lesson. He was too much for the team, and this loss was actually a motivation for the defending champions. Let’s see if this will be enough for them to keep winning games.

According to some experts, the Patriots will experience a drop in their performance by the end of the regular season. We believe they are just a bunch of doubters who like to think that Brady will retire in March. If you ask me, Brady will keep playing, and he will stay on the field for at least few more seasons. His body coach Alex Guerrero is convinced that Brady may play until 46 or 47.

Aside from these injuries, the Patriots have to find a solution to their offensive struggles. TB12 isn’t happy with the offense, and he wants them to score more points in the next few games.
