Patriots Release List Of Inactives For Week 11 Matchup Against Eagles

The New England Patriots arrived in Philadelphia for their Week 11 game against the Eagles. The Patriots are ready for a revenge, but they will play this game without a few players. Rookie receiver N’Keal Harry isn’t one of them. The rookie wasn’t added to the list of inactives.

Harry spent the first two months of the 2019 season on injured reserve. The Patriots made him inactive in Week 9 despite the fact he was perfectly healthy. New England had their bye week, and Harry will make his NFL debut against the Eagles.

When it comes to inactives for the Week 11 game, the Patriots will play without seven players.

Safety Patrick Chung, running back Damien Harris, wide receiver Gunner Olszewski, offensive tackle Korey Cunningham, tight end Ryan Izzo, quarterback Cody Kessler and defensive tackle Byron Cowart were listed as inactives.

New England can cover up inactives

Given that Chung is out, the Patriots will give safeties Duron Harmon and Terrence Brooks a bigger role. Cornerbacks Jonathan Jones and JC Jackson may also play more snaps than they usually do. New England pay decide to have cornerback Stephon Gilmore match up with Eagles tight end and top pass-catcher Zach Ertz with wide receiver Alshon Jeffery out. Chung would have played against Ertz if healthy. The Pats will have to pick a player to cover Eagles No. 2 tight end Dallas Goedert. Rookie cornerback Joejuan Williams is 6-foot-4, 211 points, is active, and he makes a good choice to handle this role. It would have to be on a limited basis, of course.

Harris didn’t join the team on their trip to Philadelphia. Sony Michel, James White, Rex Burkhead, and Brandon Bolden are the running backs New England plans to use on Sunday.

Harry, Jakoby Meyers, Julian Edelman, Phillip Dorsett, Mohamed Sanu and Matthew Slater are active at wide receiver position.

Cunningham is inactive. The Patriots will play left tackle Marshall Newhouse, left guard Joe Thuney, center Ted Karras, right guard Shaq Mason, right tackle Marcus Cannon and reserves James Ferentz and Jermaine Eluemunor on their offensive line. Left tackle Isaiah Wynn may return to the roster next week.
