Photos: Patriots Players Travel To Houston In Style

The New England Patriots are playing the Houston Texans, and players have arrived in style. Well, that’s just their usual thing. We didn’t notice any signs of the flu bug, and it looks like players feel much better now. The team deals with a serious problem, and some of the Pats players had flu this week. Eight players missed Wednesday’s practice, and two players missed Friday’s practice with the team.

Head coach Bill Belichick wasn’t really thrilled and enthusiastic during the press conference on Friday. Having your team struggling with flu days before an important game isn’t the most ideal scenario, and even the coach was coughing and sneezing during his news conference. Houston a tough opponent, and coach Belichick is well aware of the obstacles his player may have on Sunday. The Patriots will play without two players.

Cornerback Jason McCourty (groin) and defensive tackle Byron Cowart (head) didn’t join the team on their trip Houston on Saturday. Tight end Ryan Izzo (illness) was ruled out Friday.

The following players traveled with the team, but were ruled questionable.

LB Ja’Whaun Bentley, Knee

OT Marcus Cannon, Illness

S Patrick Chung, Illness/Heel/Chest

LB Jamie Collins, Illness

WR Phillip Dorsett, Concussion

S Nate Ebner, Ankle/Back

WR Julian Edelman, Shoulder

OL Jermaine Eluemunor, Illness

CB Stephon Gilmore, Illness

LB Dont’a Hightower, Illness

WR Mohamed Sanu, Ankle

WR Matthew Slater, Hamstring

LB Kyle Van Noy, Illness

CB Joejuan Williams, Illness

OT Isaiah Wynn, Illness

Houston is a big bite, and the Patriots will have to try really hard to defeat their Week 13 opponents. They have already defeated Dallas, so it won’t be a problem to hit Houston. New England hopes for a title this season, and they have a good chance to win a Super Bowl. The team has lost just one contest in the regular season, and NFL analysts predict another ring for Brady. We do hope that the players will stay healthy enough to win the next few games.

TB12 plays at a high level, and New England will need him more than ever. He is set to become a free agent in March, and he is a top priority for the organization. Will the Patriots lose him? Maybe Brady plans to call it career. Either way, we are looking forward to having another trophy in the organization.
