Report: ESPN Insider Reveals N’Keal Harry’s Status Vs. Eagles

Patriots fans have been waiting for quite some time to see N’Keal Harry play with his team. The rookie receiver has yet to make a debut with the New England Patriots. Former Patriots linebacker Tedy Bruschi was worried about the Patriots’ decision not to play Harry in the game against the Baltimore Ravens because he was a healthy scratch on the bench. Well, this NFL insider has an update on Harry’s status for the game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Patriots travelled to Philadelphia for their Week 11 game against the Eagles. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Harry will make his NFL debut Sunday afternoon when his team plays the Eagles. Schefter made the comments during “Sunday NFL Countdown.”

The rookie was inactive in Week 9 against the Ravens despite his good condition. Harry is 32nd overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, and he was a first-round pick for the Patriots.

Schefter’s comments were confirmed by Ryan Hannable and Mike Giardi from NFL Media.

Will head coach Bill Belichick give his rookie receiver a big role Sunday afternoon? Let’s wait and see what happens on the field in Philadelphia. Harry, like any young Patriots wideout, goes through an uphill battle in earning the trust of quarterback Tom Brady. If Harry needs an extra advice on how to earn the trust of the GOAT, he should talk to former Patriots receiver Malcolm Mitchell.

Tom Brady likes N’Keal Harry

Brady doesn’t really trust rookies. Well, that’s what some people believe. The quarterback has never made such claim, and he even likes Harry and everything he brings to the field. New England made a good choice by picking Harry, and Brady supported that. But, he doesn’t deny the fact that each player has to work really hard to earn a roster spot.

At the moment, Brady prefers his constant targets, and he throws to Julian Edelman on a regular base. Newly acquired veteran Mohamed Sanu is also in the game, and the Patriots are satisfied with his contribution.

The game against Philadelphia is really important for the Patriots, as they are hoping for a revenge for the loss in Super Bowl LII.
