Steve Kerr Gives Update On Curry’s Condition…’He’s dying to play’

The Golden State Warriors started the season terrible. Their season finished before it even started. Klay Thompson tore his ACL, and head coach Steve Kerr confirmed that he will not return this season. Stephen Curry broke his hand, and he was expected to stay on the sidelines at least three months. According to Bleacher Report, Curry won’t return in 2019. The team refuted this report, and there’s still one major question. Even if the superstar is healthy for the final month or two of the regular season, would the Warriors sit him out to provide favorable draft position.

Kerr insisted before Friday’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves that his superstar player will hit the court as soon as the medical staff clears him. The head coach said the initial report was sort of confusing, and he consulted president of basketball operations Bob Myers and director of sports medicine Rick Celebrini just to make sure he is right.

The coach said he didn’t have any idea where the report came from, adding that he talked to “Bob and Rick.” Well, things haven’t changed in the Golden State, and Curry will be re-evaluated in three months. That’s when the Warriors will provide an update on Curry’s role with the team. What’s the plan for the superstar? They want to bring him back on the court playing the minute he is allowed to play.

“I have no idea where that [report] came from. I talked to Bob and Rick today. Nothing’s changed on our front,” Kerr said. “Steph will be re-evaluated in three months and at that point we’ll have an update. The plan is for him to be back out on the court playing the minute he’s deemed ready to go by our training staff.

“Steph wants to play, and we want to put the best possible product on the floor for our fans. People come from all over to watch Steph Curry play basketball. He’s gonna be bored — he’s probably already bored. He’s dying to play.”

Steve Kerr knows Curry

Curry wants’ to play, and the Warriors want to put the best possible performance on the floor for their fanbase. People come all over the country to watch Curry play his best basketball. Kerr knows that his superstar will soon be bored. Well, he may already be bored. Yes, Curry is “dying” to play.

Warriors owner Joe Lacob was adamant that the Golden State won’t consider tanking. Curry and Thompson won’t return until February, and Draymond Green and D’Angelo Russell are also injured.

The team has the worst defense in the NBA. They give extended minutes to Eric Paschall, Ky Bowman and Jordan Poole.

Russell and Green don’t make a playoff team, and we all know what that means. Things don’t look good for the team.
