Tom Brady Reacts To Individual Challenges To His 2019 Patriots Season

Jim Gray noticed an interesting tweet about the Patriots organization. The tweet featured the names of all the Patriots players who left the organization including those who are injured. But, Tom Brady is in a perfect condition despite the fact that he suffered a shoulder injury. Gray and Brady talked about this tweet during the quarterback’s appearance on Westwood One before Monday Night Football. Brady had a good laugh, and talked about the individual challenges.

The quarterback said that his current teammates are playing really hard and they’re battling. He loves playing with the current team, and that’s pretty much everything you should know about the Patriots’ organization. Brady has had a lot of challenges throughout his career, and the same applies to pretty much every player to the Patriots’ roster. Brady and his teammates don’t even pay attention to the rumors related to their stats and numbers, and they always ignore the big noise. Head coach Bill Belichick taught them well. The Patriots always discuss their attitude towards outside noise, and they would gladly ignore haters’ remarks. The Patriots organization is stable, and they believe in the things they need to do.

New England is 10-1 at this point of the regular season, and Brady is really proud of all the things his team was able to achieve in the past eleven weeks. The Patriots have 53 players on the roster, and Brady knows that football is a team sport. The game is based on team work, and it’s not about a single player. It’s always about the team.

“Well, I would say the guys that I’m in there with and playing with are fighting hard, and they’re battling, and I love being out there with them,” Brady said. “I’ve had a lot of challenges over the course of my career. Our team has. And we’re not listening to anyone outside of our locker room. We’re ignoring the noise. We’ve talked about that. We have a belief of the things we need to do, and we’re going to work hard to make those things happen.

“And I’m proud of our record. We’re 10-1. We’ve got 53 guys on the roster. It’s the ultimate team sport. That’s what it’s about. It’s about the team — T-E-A-M. And you try to win the game however you can, and every week it’s going to be a little bit different. And we’re playing against a great caliber of opponents that have incredible amounts of talent, discipline, well-coached, and I’m just happy we’re finding ways to win. That’s what we’re going to need to continue to do.”

Brady and Co. are playing against excellent opponents and they are packed with talent. But, that doesn’t mean a thing, because the Patriots always find ways to defeat their opponents.

So, why was he grumpy in the past few press conferences? It felt as if Brady didn’t want to talk about the win over the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles. His team won, but he wasn’t in the mood of answering questions.

New England plays the Houston Texans on Sunday, and they are off to another big win. Game on, Pats!
