Tom Brady Reveals Why He’s Happier Now Than After Patriots Week 11 Win

You might have thought that Tom Brady was ecstatic over the New England Patriots big week 11 win over the Philadelphia Eagles. But you would have thought incorrectly.

He didn’t say much after the win. He seemed almost disappointed. But that changed when he talked to Jim Gray on Westwood One radio. Brady was quick to go into more detail on what was going through his mind and his outlook on the rest of the season. Gray asked Brady how he was doing.

“I’m doing good,” Brady said. “We had a good couple days of practice. The football season, part of it is dealing with lots of different emotions, and you deal with the physical part, the mental part, but the emotional part is very important, as well. I always want to go out and play great. Sometimes when we don’t, it’s frustrating, but that’s football season. And fortunately, we get a chance to go out there on Sunday and try to go up against one of the best teams in the NFL and find some rhythm on offense, score some points, and I think that would make all of us pretty happy.”

Brady was not very happy about the offense after the win against the Eagles in week 11 game. For someone as decorated as Brady, winning the game isn’t enough. He wasn’t happy about the team’s lack of scoring offensively. In order to get back to the Super Bowl, the offense is going to have to improve dramatically. And with Brady leading the way, it shouldn’t be too difficult.

“I’ve said we’ve got to take advantage when we get opportunities in short fields. We had a few of those and really didn’t, and those are the ones that probably frustrate me the most,” Brady said. “I think when you get the ball on the 50-yard line a couple of times and don’t do anything with it, those are the frustrating ones. It’s one thing when you’re backed up on your own 5-yard line all day, and we haven’t had many of those. But there are some times that we’re getting great field position, the defense is putting us in great field position, and we’re not taking advantage of our opportunities.”

We will see how the offense responds in the upcoming weeks.
