Watch: Bill Belichick Breaking Down Patriots Blocked Punt Further Cements His Legend Status

The win over the Dallas Cowboys at Gillette Stadium gave the New England Patriots a 10-1 record. Week 12 was exhausting, but quarterback Tom Brady and his teammates won the match. Although doubters keep talking about their performance this season, pretty much every NFL fan would agree that head coach Bill Belichick is incredible. Belichick’s brilliance has helped the Patriots win Super Bowls. The coach doesn’t really reveal the strategies his players use on the field, but he sure discussed the blocked punt against the Cowboys.

Belichick is a genius. He knew that with the wind going down the left side of the field, Cowboys punter Chris Jones would kick in that direction in order to get more yards. The coach changed that, and sent pressure on the left hand side of the line of scrimmage. Specialist Matthew Slater put his hands on the ball and forced the block.

Bring out another blocked punt

The Patriots mastermind has 19 straight winning seasons with the Patriots. He is a six-time Super Bowl Champion, and three-time AP Coach of the Year. Belichick has been selected to the NFL100 All-Time Team.

Let’s not forget that the great Belichick noticed this and relayed it to his players in less than 30 seconds. That’s what makes him an incredible coach, and the Patriots are lucky to have such a mastermind on the sidelines.

If you had a second thought of the Patriots’ coach, it’s time to stop that, because Belichick is definitely the best coach of all times.

The Brady-Belichick era is full of success, and hopefully, it will last a few more seasons. Brady doesn’t really talk about his retirement, and the coach has never mentioned it. The Patriots nation will need these two to try and push the team to the big game in February. Belichick can do that. Brady can do that, too.

The Houston Texans are next on their list, and they are a tough opponent. Well, this will be just a regular game for the Patriots, and Brady will play as if it’s a big deal. We’re looking forward to another big win and blocked punt, of course.
