In the promotional video that was released on Gronk’s social media platforms, the retired tight end argues with himself whether he should play in the big game or party at it. Well, Party Gronk won the challenge, and Gronk won’t play in the Super Bowl.

The retired tight end has until Nov. 30 to decide whether he wants to join the Patriots this season. However, this announcement shut down every hope about his comeback. Gronk kept teasing fans in his announcement video, suggesting there’s a chance to reconsider his retirement decision in 2020.

Gronk was wearing his Super Bowl rings and standing in front of a row of Lombardi Trophies. “We’ll can an audible, but just for this season,” he said.

We’ll be convinced in this when we see it, Gronk.

Rob Gronkowski won’t return

The New England Patriots would gladly use Gronk on the field. They struggled on the field to win the last game against the Philadelphia Eagles. The offense has been struggling a lot, and Tom Brady can no longer hide his frustration. Although the offense struggles a lot, the defense got a lot of words of praise. But, seeing Gronk back on the field is like a dream come true, and even head coach Bill Belichick would love to see him on the winning squad.

Patriots owner Robert Kraft has already discussed Gronk’s reinstatement, and the tight end will have to make a decision. Well, it looks like he has made one. Gronk won’t come back, because he is trying to recover completely. Last season, Gronk couldn’t enjoy the game because of the pain he was dealing with. He suffered a lot of injuries, concussions and hits. Let’s see what happens by the end of the season.
