Tom Brady Addresses On Options For Fixing Patriots Offense

The New England Patriots are 10-2 at this point of the season. Tom Brady’s team lost the games against the Baltimore Ravens and Houston Texans. The quarterback was really upset following Sunday’s win, and we can understand that really well. The Patriots’ offense has struggled a lot lately, and Brady can’t take it any longer.

The Patriots had a tiny comeback in their 28-22 loss to the Houston Texans on Sunday night. Well, this comeback came too late, and the team lost the match. Brady and his teammates will look for more answers in December. TB12 discussed the issues with Jim Gray n Westwood One on Monday night. According to him, there’s no easy fix for the offense. They have to work a lot, and try harder at practice.

The quarterback knows that there’s no magic formula. No magic can help the offense step up. Teammates have to trust each other and build stronger bond. They have to be confident about the process, and play the best game ever. Words mean nothing, and Brady is looking forward to see some action. Scoring points is quite a challenge for the Patriots, and the team has to find a solution to the problems they had this season.

“I don’t think there’s any real magic formula. There’s no magic play you can call that will work,” said Brady. “It just comes down to everyone believing in one another and trusting in one another, having confidence that we can go out and execute on a consistent basis. It’s one thing to say it, it’s another to do it. There are some times when we’ve done it and scored points and there are other times we haven’t and it leads to negative plays, turnovers, and punts where you don’t score. We’ve had quite a bit of turnover and change, and that’s natural. We’re working through those things like every other team.

“I know there are high expectations for us and there have been for a long time. We have high expectations. I wish we could win every game and win by 50 points every game, but I don’t think that gives enough credit to the teams we’re playing. This isn’t the Harlem Globetrotters. It’s hard to win in the NFL and hard to win on the road.”

The offense has to try harder

Everyone has high expectations for the Patriots. Nothing has changed in the past decade. Fans keep setting the bar really high for Brady and his team. Brady would love to win every game and win by 50 points every game. But, road games are tough, and winning in the NFL is hard.

NBC cameras caught Brady talking to his receivers on the sideline. He was criticizing them, but it was nothing but a dose of constructive criticism. Guess what… Brady does it in practice, and teammates don’t get mad at him. He is doing this because the team needs a strong leader who will point out to every mistake they made. Let’s be honest, his teammates made a lot of mistakes in the past few games. Brady can’t do it all. He needs to have strong targets. He needs to trust his targets. There was a huge miscommunication between him and his wideouts in Houston.

“I do that quite a bit in practice. I know they don’t always pick it up when I do speak, but I speak a lot in meetings and on the practice field, and certainly in the games in the huddle,” he said. “I’m just trying to communicate what I see and a lot of guys do the same thing. It was a tough game last night; they came out and played really well and played aggressively. When that happens you have to try to match it. They got off to a great start, we tried to battle back and we came up short in the end.”
