Tom Brady Reveals Why Gisele and His Mother Want Him to Retire

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady plays elite football, but he is 42. This means he doesn’t show the same performance he had in the early 2000s. Brady is the greatest quarterback of all times, and retirement is the last thing that pops in his mind. The GOAT has received so many questions about his future plans with the Patriots. He is trying to win another Super Bowl with the New England Patriots despite the offensive struggles on the floor. The six-time Super Bowl champion is set to become a free agent in March. Will he retire this offseason? Well, his mom Galynn would love that. The same applies to his gorgeous wife Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen.

In his interview with Jason Kennedy of E! for a new show called In the Room, the quarterback revealed why his mom and wife want him to retire.

They don’t want to see him get hit anymore. TB12 also mentioned that Galynn doesn’t like it he gets hit because of the injury he may suffer. In Brady’s defense, he only has suffered one serious injury. He tore his ACL in 2008. Brady tries to stay healthy and takes a really good care of his body. His body coach and business partner Alex Guerrero helps in the process. So far this season, the GOAT has been sacked 21 times in 12 games. When it comes to his career, Brady has been sacked 494 times and that ranks fourth all-time. Let’s not forget that Brady has been in the NFL for 20 seasons. That’s a lot of time for a quarterback.

“Mom would prefer at some point for me to retire just like my wife would because she doesn’t want to see me get hit either,” Brady said.

He still wants to play, so if the Pats want him out, he may play with another team. Brady loves his team, loves his team and can’t wait to win another Super Bowl.

“That is the great part for me — I don’t know,” Brady said back in October. “I think that has been a unique situation that I have been in because I think when you commit to a team for a certain amount of years, you kinda feel like (there is) the responsibility to always fulfill the contract. For me, it’s been good because I am just taking it day by day and I am enjoying what I have. I don’t know what the future holds and the great part is for me, football at this point is all borrowed time.

“I never expected to play 20 years and I am playing on a great team and it’s just been an incredible 20 years of my life. To play for Mr. Kraft, and Jonathan and the Kraft family and for Coach Belichick and to have so much success is a dream come true.”

The New England Patriots are playing the Kansas City Chiefs. They lost the game to the Houston Texans, and Brady was really frustrated. He wants the offense to step up, and has high expectations from his team. It feels so bad when the champions play bad. Let’s see what happens on Sunday. Will they defeat Mahomes and his team?
