Injury Report: Tom Brady Limited Ahead Of Chiefs Game

Patriots head coach Bill Belichick may have a reason to be worried. His star quarterback Tom Brady was dealing with multiple injuries this week, and his name was added to the Patriots injury report. Well, Brady was downgraded to limited on Thursday’s injury report. The quarterback appeared on the report with elbow and toe injuries. However, he was a full participant in the session.

TB12 was limited participant Thursday, and he was one of the eight players limited in the second-to-last practice of the week. New England plays the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, and players better get ready for the big challenge.

Third-string quarterback Cody Kessler was among the eight players. He became the 11th Patriots player to deal with an illness in the last two weeks.

Center Ted Karras (knee) and defensive lineman Byron Cowart (head) are not expected to play Sunday against the Chiefs as they missed practice the last two days. James Ferentz will probably start at center if Karras stays on the sideline.

Here’s the full injury report of the New England Patriots:

DID NOT PARTICIPATE

DL Byron Cowart, Head

OL Ted Karras, Knee

LIMITED PARTICIPATION

QB Tom Brady, Toe / Right Elbow

LB Ja’Whaun Bentley, Knee

OT Marcus Cannon, Illness

S Patrick Chung, Heel

WR Julian Edelman, Shoulder

QB Cody Kessler, Illness

CB Jason McCourty, Groin

WR Mohamed Sanu, Ankle

New England has to prepare well for Kansas City. This will be an important game for Brady, and the Chiefs will definitely look for revenge. They are well prepared, and some pundits view them as one of the best teams in the league.

The Patriots still struggle with their offensive players, and the receiving unit is plagued with injuries and changes. Coach Belichick has to pack his receiving squad with talent, otherwise, the Chiefs will smash his team. The Pats have lost two regular-season games, and hopefully, they won’t lose this one. Brady is really upset with the team’s inability to score. The defense is strong, but the offense makes too many mistakes. Let’s see what happens on Sunday. Game on, Pats! This one is yours!
