The Kansas City Chiefs arrived in Foxboro, and they won the coin toss and deferred. Patriots Brandon Bolden is back deep to receive an opening kickoff for his team. The New England Patriots struggled to move the ball on the first possession of the game. However, they found the end zone with the help of a two third-down pass interference penalties and some trickeration. What a fireball!
Wide receivers Mohamed Sanu and Phillip Dorsett drew flags to extend the drive. Quarterback Tom Brady hit wide receiver Julian Edelman for a 37-yard touchdown off a flea-flicker. It’s a nice fireball for the duo.
This is a great development for the Patriots. The team knew that the Chiefs would arrive in town ready for revenge. They were prepared for this. Head coach Bill Belichick was prepared for the Chiefs and he built a defense to limit their movement.
NFL experts predicted a win for New England. Belichick made a big choice before the start of the game. He threw away some of the changes and then used some of his old tricks. The Patriots tend to make changes in the final quarter of the game, but we believe that the Chiefs are well prepared for this trick.
The Patriots won the AFC Championship
Game because they used cornerback Jonathan Jones and safety Devin McCourty on
wide receiver Tyreek Hill. Cornerback JC Jackson confronted tight end Travis Kelce and cornerback Stephon Gilmore was put against wide receiver Sammy Watkins. They added a change in the fourth quarter
and put Gilmore on Kelce. Will Belichick try anything similar this time?
Patriots safety Duron Harmon is amazed by the Chiefs’ ability to plan games. The Patriots did a few tricks early and showed their opponents some new plays. Kansas City couldn’t handle these changes back then. However, Andy Reid is an excellent offensive coordinator, and he can make the right adjustments when the game requires one. Harmon is convinced that his team has to keep switching it up on the Chiefs.
Sunday is a big game for the Patriots,
and they have already connected for a touchdown. Who is the next to score
points? The offense needs to move around.
