Report: Julian Edelman Suffered New Injury In Loss To Chiefs

The New England Patriots can’t afford an injury at the moment, but it looks like they have a huge problem to solve. Wide receiver Julian Edelman suffered a knee injury in addition to the shoulder issue that made him a limited participant in the last few weeks. The information was confirmed by the team and the latest injury report.

Sources confirmed that Edelman missed Wednesday’s session for “load management.” He injured his knee during Sunday’s match against the Kansas City Chiefs. The wideout was liming after several plays during the fourth quarter.

New England also listed two other wideouts on the latest injury report. Mohamed Sanu was listed for his ankle issue and N’Keal Harry has yet to recover from his hip ailment. The rookie was a full participant, and quarterback Tom Brady had the same status. Brady had an ice pack on his right elbow, and media members noticed it during the post-game press conference.

Center Ted Karras and defensive lineman Byron Coward returned to the session as limited participants. They missed Sunday’s loss due to knee and had injuries respectively.

Defensive tackle Danny Shelton was added to the injury report. According to sources, he is dealing with a shoulder injury.

Julian Edelman is expected to play

The New England Patriots are playing the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. It will be an easy game for the team, and that’s the last road match for the season. Tom Brady and his teammates will finish the season with two home games, and one of them features the Miami Dolphins. The tough stretch of the season is over, and the Patriots can take a deep breath now. They have three losses so far, and hopefully, players won’t add another failure.

But, before they play the Bengals, they will have to bear the consequences of the scandal that broke a couple of days ago. The Bengals were upset after seeing the Patriots’ production team in Cleveland, and New England is accused of videotaping Cincinnati’s sideline.
