New England Patriots Re-Sign Pass Rusher, Adds Safety

The New England Patriots had two mysterious players on the practice field Wednesday. We have the identity of the players who joined the Patriots during the session. New England re-signed pass rusher Eric Lee to the practice squad. Safety Adarius Pickett was added to the practice squad, too.

Lee was part of the New England Patriots in 2017. He recorded 19 tackles, 3.5 sacks and an interception in six games and five starts. Lee spent the last two seasons playing with the Detroit Lions, and was released from the practice squad Oct. 9.

Pickett is a rookie out of UCLA. He spent the long summer with the Los Angeles Chargers. New England also signed kicker Josh Gable to the practice squad Wednesday.

New England had a lot of room on the practice unit after center Tyler Gauthier was signed to the Jacksonville Jaguars’ active roster and safety Nate Brooks was added to the Miami Dolphins’ roster.

The Patriots have three games left of the regular season. they have two home games and one road game. the Cincinnati Bengals are next on their list, but this team is giving Robert Kraft a serious headache.

The Bengals complained about the team’s videotaping of their sideline in Cleveland. New England had sent a film crew to Cleveland to record the game against the Browns. It looks like Cincinnati didn’t like this at all. The NFL got involved, and Commissioner Roger Goodell released a statement about the investigation.

According to him, the Patriots are still under investigation, and their history will affect the process. If by any chance you don’t remember, the Patriots were involved in Deflategate and Spygate. But, instead of choosing the past, Goodell will try to determine what really happened in Cleveland. Did the cameraman make a mistake?

the Patriots say that their cameraman didn’t know anything about the rules NFL has about sidelines and videotaping. Head coach Bill Belichick said the same thing. Will Goodell trust Kraft’s team? Will they get fined again? The whole thing is expected to end in the next few days.
