Adam Schefter Releases Statement On Tom Brady’s Future With Patriots

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady plays elite football, but his contract expires in March. Many say that the quarterback will retire after the regular season. Brady doesn’t really talk much about his future. On one occasion, the quarterback said he’d love to play until he is 45. His body coach and business partner Alex Guerrero said that Brady may play until he is 46 or 47. Brady agreed with these comments, adding that he’d love to play if he is healthy. But, he bought a new home in Connecticut. This was enough for fans to start talking about Brady’s retirement. What does Adam Schefter say about this?

Brady may become a free agent in the offseason. He is 42, and this season isn’t his best. Are these Brady’s last days as a Patriot?

ESPN’s Adam Schefter talked about Brady’s options on Thursday’s game on Thursday’s episode of “Get Up.” According to him, Brady has three options. He may retire, re-sign with the New England Patriots or sign a deal with a completely different team. If by any chance you noticed, two of these options include leaving the Patriots.

Schefter is convinced that Brady has yet to decide about his future. His team probably doesn’t know anything about this. Brady’s body is wearing down a little bit, and that’s a natural process. Sundays are tough, and he will have to think really good before making a decision.

“I don’t think that he knows what he’s going to do. I don’t know that (the Patriots) know what he’s going to do,” Schefter said. “But two of the three (say he’s leaving New England). The percentages are that he doesn’t come back. The percentages are that he moves on one way or another because there’s an equal chance that any of those happen at this point in time.

“And he is 42, and he’s not practicing as much, and his body is wearing down a little bit, which is natural. Could you imagine what it’s like to be Tom Brady when you’ve been hit on Sunday and pummeled like that? It’s a tough challenge.”

Brady will do his best to help the team win a Super Bowl. He can do that. He already has six rings. But, he may leave the Patriots after the Super Bowl. That’s already an option.

TB12 is in the middle of his 20th season with the Patriots. He was selected in the sixth round of the 2000 NFL Draft. The last few weeks of the season and the playoffs will help Brady make a decision. Will he return to the NFL for another season? Head coach Belichick and the rest of the team would love that. Brady has an important role on the field. He is the greatest of all times. Of course, they need him.
