Rodney Harrison Describes Patriots’ Offense With Only One Word

The New England Patriots had a stellar performance in the game against the Cincinnati Bengals. However, the offense didn’t quite contribute to the 34-13 score. The Patriots could only put up 291 total yards against the Bengals. The rushing attack was fairly productive, quarterback Tom Brady was limited to 128 passing yards. TB12 wasn’t in-sync with the wide receivers during the game. NBC’s “Football Night in America” crew on Sunday summed up the Patriots’ offense in a segment of “fill in the blank.” Former Patriots safety Rodney Harrison was asked about the “Patriots offense looks (blank),” and his response was… expected.

“Miserable,” he said on NBC.

Host Mike Tirico pointed out the number of points the Patriots had in Week 15. “Against who, Mike?” Harrison replied.

Rodney Harrison is right

The Bengals was an easy task for New England despite all the controversy surrounding the Spygate scandal. New England is under investigation, and NFL investigators are trying to determine whether the videotaping is in some way linked to the game against Cincinnati. The Bengals complained about the cameraman who recorded their sideline in Cleveland, and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said the Patriots’ history will affect the investigation. We don’t know if the team will be punished for the incident, but sources reveal that the team will probably face serious consequences.

Let’s go back to the offense. Brady couldn’t hide his disappointment and frustration. The offense played really bad in the past few months, and he really wanted them to score more points. Unlike the offense, the Patriots’ defense was brilliant, and many analysts say it was the defense that helped the Patriots win this many games.

New England is on a good way to win the Super Bowl again. The team lost just three games in the regular season. Well, the season is not over yet, and the Patriots will have to win the last two games. The Buffalo Bills may give them a headache. Miami is not considered a threat this season.

This wasn’t the best season New England has had, but they did well. The only problem they had was the offense. Oh, yes, and Spygate.
