Ravens Star Sends Warning Message To Patriots’ Tom Brady

The New England Patriots will play their final game of the regular season. It’s an easy match against the Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins may be an easy snack for the Patriots, but this game is important for New England for one particular reason. New England is playing for a first-round bye. The playoffs will sort of begin a little earlier because if Tom Brady’s team wins, the team will get their first-round bye and a No. 2 seed. If they lose to Miami, the Kansas City Chiefs will just need to win the game against the Los Angeles Chargers to snatch the No.2 seed. A Ravens legend has something to say about this.

The Patriots will try to avoid playing on Wild Card weekend for the first time in a decade. A former Baltimore Ravens linebacker has a theory on this one. The last time New England did play on Wild Card Weekend, the team was dominated by a 33-14 score. Although the game was played at Foxborough, the Ravens took a 24-0 lead at the end of the first quarter.

During his appearance on “Inside the NFL,” Ray Lewis sent a huge warning to the Patriots quarterback.

“I got a stat about the Patriots. Last time the Patriots were in the Wild Card was 10 years ago, 2009. They ran into the Baltimore Ravens. That didn’t end well, 33-14, Brady three picks,” Lewis said on the latest edition of Showtime’s “Inside the NFL.” “Handle your business, Brady. Don’t get in that Wild Card spot. Anything happens, guys.”

If the Patriots end up at the No. 3 seed, they will host the Tennessee Titans, Pittsburgh Steelers and Oakland Raiders.

The Patriots have only played on the opening playoff weekend just three times during Brady’s time with the team. They didn’t win the Super Bowl in any one of those years. In all six seasons where the team got the Lombardi Trophy, players began postseason play in the Divisional Round.

Let’s see what happens in the next few weeks. The Patriots need to be careful on Sunday. They need a win.
