Anthony Davis Says LeBron’s Ability to ‘Accept Criticism’ Is Driving Lakers Success

LeBron James is the best player to ever play the game. He has some insane athletic skills and the most brilliant basketball mind. If you ask his teammate Anthony Davis, he will say that LeBron’s mental makeup is the biggest reason for the team’s success in the regular season. LeBron knows when to accept criticism, and that’s what makes him a great player and teammate.

Davis said every player has respect for his teammates, making others much better than before. LeBron listens, and every other Laker listens. The king can accept criticism from his teammates, and that’s what makes the Lakers this great.

Thanks to LeBron’s basketball IQ, the Lakers have a 23-3 record in the regular season. They defeated the Miami Heat on Friday night, adding another win to the pile.

The win marked LeBron’s sixth straight win, and he recorded a double-double with 28 points, 12 assists, and nine rebounds.

The success enjoyed by Los Angeles in the regular season has not only been connected to LeBron’s willingness to accept criticism. His teammates accept criticism. Adding Davis in the offseason has brought a superstar player to the team. Davis averages of 27.4 points, 9.2 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 2.6 blocks per game.

LeBron turns 35 on Dec. 30, and he is playing his 17th NBA season. He averages 25.9 points, 10.8 assists and 7.1 rebounds per game. He’s healthy after having an injury-plagued season with the team last year. In the 2018-19 LeBron was limited to a career-low 55 games. He didn’t come to Los Angeles for that.

Injuries kept the Lakers out of the postseason for the sixth straight year. They have huge success this season, and we believe that this playoff drought will come to an end. The Lakers have a really good chance to make the playoffs.

On Sunday the Lakers will continue their road trip with a match against the Atlanta Hawks. They are laying the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday night, and that’s their end of the road trip. The Bucks are tied with the Lakers for the best record in the NBA.
