Danny Green Reveals “The Scary Thing” About Lakers Chemistry

The Los Angeles Lakers were at the bottom of the NBA last season, but things changed and the team dominates the league this season. LeBron James plays his best basketball, and he is receiving a lot of help from his teammates. Anthony Davis arrived right on time, and pretty much every player contributes to the game. Los Angeles is 24-3 at this point in the regular season, and they have yet to unlock their full potential. That’s what Danny Green said.

The two-time NBA champion sharpshooter shared his opinion about LeBron, Davis, and the Lakers’ full potential for the season.

“I’d say they’re a lightly layered peanut butter and jelly sandwich,” Green said. “I think hopefully by April, May, and June or March/April they’ll have a well-lathered peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Hopefully, things will be running smooth. And the scary thing for us is that we feel like we’re playing well but we’re not at our full potential yet. We’re 100% healthy and all of our guys are playing well and our guys are playing our best basketball.”

That’s right. According to Green, the Lakers have yet to play with their full potential. Everyone is healthy, and hopefully, they will stay healthy by the end of the season. LeBron’s injury was fatal last season, and his younger teammates didn’t have a chance to compete against other teams in the NBA. Their chemistry was poor, and the team was plagued with injuries. That’s not the case for the season. This time things got a lot better.

LeBron is averaging 26.1 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.3 steals, and 10.7 assists per game while shooting at 50.2% from the floor. Davis is averaging 27.4 points, 9.3 rebounds, 1.5 steals, 2.6 blocks, and 3.3 assists per contest while shooting at 49.9% from the field.

The Lakers are first in the Pacific Division with their 24-3 record. It’s more than obvious that they will keep playing at this level. They have a really good chance to win the championship this season. That will give LeBron a chance to show everyone that he is the GOAT.
