Elandon Roberts Had Epic Reaction To Tom Brady Using His Quote

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady pulled out an incredible block in the game against the Buffalo Bills. He wanted to brag a little bit, and took to his Instagram account to show off. TB12 used a quote from Elandon Roberts, and the linebacker/fullback was more than flattered. Brady used his quote, and it was really flattering.

Following the win over Buffalo, TB12 celebrated his open-field block on cornerback Tre’Davious White and echoed Roberts. The linebacker also provided an incredible evaluation of his style during his postgame conversation with the media.

When asked about Brady’s shoutout after Thursday’s practice, Roberts had a nice answer.

“Tom’s crazy,” he said. “I saw it. … Tom’s funny, man. But I think he was about his quote, man. I think Tom really wants to play special teams and stuff, he just ain’t been able to yet. And defense, man. I feel like Tom would be a good safety, man. Tom get at the corner. Or he might be a good linebacker, too — Tom sticks his head in. But right now, I think Tom’s good where he’s at.”

Brady and Roberts have been teammates for the last four seasons. They have worked together much more closely this season as multiple injuries at fullback opened new opportunities for Roberts. He has duties on defense and special teams, and the Patriots have him a chance to play at least one offensive snap in eight of New England’s nine games. This includes a career-high 21 in the game against the Bills.

Brady and the team will confront the Miami Dolphins at Gillette Stadium on Sunday. It’s a big game as it will give the Patriots a chance to snatch the No. 2 seed. Miami isn’t a tough opponent, and the Patriots will probably win this game. They have already defeated the Dolphins this season, and experts predict another win for Brady’s team.

New England’s players are healthy, and key players are expected to suit up for the upcoming match. It’s the final match of a season full of challenges. It wasn’t their best, but it was definitely exciting. Game on, Pats!
