Julian Edelman Gives Has Blunt Response To Question About Playing Through Injury

The New England Patriots were plagued with injuries this season, but wide receiver Julian Edelman doesn’t mind any of this. The wide receiver played through injuries this season, and gained the support of everyone, including fellow wide receiver Mohamed Sanu. Well Edelman may be injured but he is ready to play the big game.

Edelman’s inability to stay healthy this season is taking a toll on his psyche. That’s what doubters say.

Edelman appeared on The Greg Hill Show, a Boston-based sports radio show on Friday morning. The wide receiver was sort of inhospitable when asked about his game this season and the fact that he played through injuries. Edelman doesn’t like getting questions of this kind.

According to WEEI’s Ryan Hannable, Edelman said, “I’m sick and tired of talking about it, so don’t ask me about it.”

We don’t blame the wide receiver for being this annoyed with the fact that his body may betray him at some point. The 33-year-old wide receiver should definitely advertise some more respect here.

We have a bunch of doubters saying that Edelman should’ve provided a real answer to these questions. Well, we know that a great number of people don’t like the fact that the Patriots are the best team in the NFL, and it’s more than understandable to see them blast the veteran.

Edelman has every right to choose not to discuss his injuries and his game with the team. Numbers say enough for his success. He is the best in the group, and this is actually one of his best seasons so far.

The wide receiver was the Super Bowl MVP last season, and we are convinced that Edelman will strive to similar success this season. How will the Patriots finish the regular season? With a success? It will be more than pleasant to see them raise another Lombardi Trophy. Of course, they will have to do that without tight end Rob Gronkowski. He was the star of last year’s show, and maybe the team will invite him again. Hopefully, he won’t make a dent to the Lombardi Trophy again.
