Julian Edelman Shares Uplifting Message After Patriots’ Loss To Texans

The New England Patriots lost their Week 13 game to the Houston Texans. It was a terrible loss, and quarterback Tom Brady got really upset. His teammate, wideout Julian Edelman had something to say to his fans and pretty much everyone who was disappointed. Edelman always posts something to express his emotions, regardless of whether he lost or won a game.

This time the wideout took to his Instagram account to share a message for Patriots fans after the Patriots’ loss to Houston on Sunday night.

“Fall down… pick each other back up,” he wrote in the caption. It was a photo of him and his teammate Phillip Dorsett.

The message is understood

This loss was a huge surprise for NFL experts, because most of them predicted a win for the Patriots. Brady and his team weren’t able to defeat the Texans, and the quarterback was really upset with the 28-22 loss. New England struggles on their offensive end, and the team was forced to the No. 2 seed in the AFC. Will the defending champions make a run for the Lombardi Trophy again?

In his weekly appearance on WEEI’s The Greg Hill Show, Brady talked about the loss and the fact that the bar is usually set high for his teammates. According to TB12, the expectations for his team often are at a very, very, very high level. He understands this, but at the same time, he thinks there are realistic expectations with the circumstances incorporating different elements and players and injuries.

The Patriots lost players to injury, retirement and release. They don’t have Josh Gordon anymore, and Antonio Brown is still out of the game. Well, if you ask Brady, he will stay there’s no room for panic.

Sunday night’s loss is the third straight match with a completion percentage below 60 and the fourth straight with a passer rating below 90.0 for the quarterback. It’s all part of the game, of course, and players try really hard to stay on track. Brady is convinced that his teammates are doing the best they can do. Everyone is working hard and trying to do the right thing for the team.

The Patriots are playing the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.
