LeBron James Reacts To 102-105 Loss To Indiana Pacers

The Los Angeles Lakers lost the game to the Indiana Pacers. It was a loss for the team, but Lakers players use it as a motivation. Malcolm Brogdon hit a reverse layup with 36.4 seconds left of the game. He broke the tie and gave his team a 105-102 win over the league’s best road team. The Lakers’ winning streak away from home was broken.

“We knew when we threw a punch, they would punch back,” Pacers forward Domantas Sabonis said. “We just stuck together.”

The Pacers tried really hard to win their fourth straight win. Most experts agree that this is their most impressive win on the regular season.

Los Angeles is 24-4 at this point in the season. The team came into the game with the NBA’s best record and 14 straight victories on the road, the second-longest streak in the team’s history and two victories short of their record-setting mark from 1971-72.

LeBron’s talent couldn’t lead the team to a win. All-Star forward Anthony Davis missed the game due to a sprained right ankle.

King James scored 20 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists. He missed a step-back three-pointer with 11.7 seconds left that would have given the team a lead. Well, mistakes happen, and nothing can change that.

A replay review then overturned a call and gave Indiana the ball. Sabonis made one of two free throws and finished the game with 26 points and 10 rebounds. Rajon Rondo and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope missed a shot before the end of the game. The Lakers tried to push for overtime, but it didn’t happen.

“Throughout the winning streak, we were able to keep our composure, whether we were up or down, still being able to make a game of it, which we did tonight,” LeBron said. “But sometimes the ball doesn’t bounce your way.”

The Lakers led most of the first half but trailed most of the second half of the game.

Brogdon took matters in his hands, and rushed right past Dwight Howard and used the rim to protect the ball. Sabonis and the rest of the team trust him a lot.

LeBron will earn the Lakers another win. Davis will be back on the floor for the next game. Hopefully.
