LeBron James Reveals Hilarious Reason Why He Doesn’t Want 35th Birthday Party

Lakers superstar LeBron James turns 35 on Monday. However, he is not thrilled to throw a birthday party to celebrate it. What’s the reason for this attitude? LeBron revealed his reasons to dismiss the idea of having a birthday party.

The Lakers forward joked about his milestone that comes in the middle of his 17th season. LeBron makes $37.4 million for his on-court play and tens of millions in endorsements per season, but he doesn’t want to spend his money to celebrate birthday.

“I don’t wish to have a party because I got to pay for it,” the king joked. “I got to pay for my own damn birthday party.”

During his incredible NBA career, LeBron has played 1,230 regular season games and 239 postseason contests. His body has went through a lot, but LeBron still plays at an All-Star level.

At this moment, LeBron is averaging 25.1 points, 10.8 assists and 7.5 rebounds per game this season.

LeBron suffered a groin injury, and he had to miss the Dec. 22 home game against the Denver Mavericks. He had a similar problem last season, and was limited to 55 games. LeBron had to miss too many contests, and hopefully, that won’t happen again this season.

LeBron’s current groin injury is less severe. The king of basketball was able to suit up for the Christmas contest against the Los Angeles Clippers. He also played the last two games.

The Lakers superstar will have enough time and willingness to celebrate his birthday and also ring in 2020 on Tuesday night. The Lakers won’t play another game until Wednesday night when they confront the Phoenix Suns.

It’s an incredible season for the Lakers, and they are the best team in the NBA. How will the king and his teammates finish the season? We hope for a ring. Let’s see what happens in the next few months. Hopefully, LeBron and his teammates will stay healthy to finish the season with a title. That’s what he and Anthony Davis hope for. That’s why they decided to join the Lakers. Winning a title will be a dream come true for the team.
