LeBron James’ Status Vs. Trail Blazers

Lakers superstar LeBron James was listed as questionable to play in Saturday’s matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers. This is an important game for the Lakers, but they are in the middle of a losing streak. The Trail Blazers are tough opponents, but the Lakers have everything under control. Will LeBron suit up for the game?

LeBron’s team made an announcement Friday that their superstar has a groin contusion. King James is expected to travel to Portland with the team.

Lakers head coach Frank Vogel talked to media members and said that LeBron was limited in Friday’s session. League sources confirmed that King James is on track to play against the Trail Blazers.

“LeBron basically did the no-contact portion or just the warm-up portion of some of the offensive fundamentals that we were doing,” Vogel said Friday. ” … Like all injuries, we’re going to be cautious about it. Certainly, it’s in the same area, but it’s not the same injury as last year.”

LeBron didn’t have much luck, and he actually aggravated his groin during a collision with Los Angeles Clippers guard Patrick Beverley in the first quarter of the team’s Christmas Day game Wednesday.

Last Christmas, LeBron suffered a groin injury in the game against the Golden State Warriors. This was the first major injury in his professional career. The king of basketball was limited to 55 games, and that’s his career-low record. His team missed the chance to make the postseason too early in the season.

This season LeBron deals with an injury on the right side of his groin. In 30 regular-season games this season, he averages 25.7 points, 10.6 assists and 7.6 rebounds per match.

The Trail Blazers (14-18) will play LeBron’s team (24-7) at 10 p.m. EST on Saturday in Portland.

Los Angeles better get ready for the rest of the season. It’s a tough season, and the Lakers have to take care of their superstars. Anthony Davis had an injury, too, but he played against the team. Hopefully, both superstars will stay healthy to finish the season with a title. Game on, Lakers!
