LeBron Responds to Jazz Broadcast’s Rant About Wearing Socks on the Cour

The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Utah Jazz, and LeBron James attracted everyone’s attention with his socks. Yes, he stepped on the court following a defensive possession in which Utah center Tony Bradley was blocked twice, and announcers Matt Harping and Craig Bolerjack criticized him for not wearing shoes.

According to Bolerjack, this was nothing but disrespect. Harping added that the Lakers are clowning on the bench side.

So, what made LeBron step on the field without having his shoes on? He decided to give his shoes to two young fans who were cheering in the crowd earlier in the quarter.

The Jazz announcers were really upset with LeBron stepping on the floor without shoes than him having his shoes off in the first place.

LeBron decided to respond to the comments from these announcers who criticized him for having his shoes off.

“Imagine doing your job at the highest level to where you’re not needed anymore, giving your shoes to a lil girl and boy who you inspire and hoped you made proud that night, then cheering on your teammates cause you love seeing them succeed more than yourself only to be criticized while doing it,” James said on Instagram. “People it’s the world we live in and you can’t let it ever stop you from your purpose in life. Negativity, bad energy, hate, envy, etc etc will try to bring you down throughout your journey and it’s up to you on how you handle it. I handle it by simply saying ‘Thank You’ with a [smile] on my face and continue to push forward while doing it! LIVE.LAUGH.LOVE.”

That’s how you respond to someone who criticizes you instead of praising your success. LeBron and the Lakers defeated Utah, and the 121-96 win was more than brilliant. The Lakers keep winning games, and they are closer to the finals with every game they play. This is a great lesson for doubters, and hopefully, critics will stop trashing the king. LeBron isn’t washed, and he keeps scoring triple-doubles. Anthony Davis is great, and the team is the best in the Western Conference.
