Manish Mehta Suggests Patriots Probably Cheated Again

Manish Mehta has been trying to get some attention in the most ridiculous ways, and the New England Patriots are his favorite targets. Mehta is one of those people who can’t wait for Patriots head coach Bill Belichick to make a mistake. Well, the Patriots made one and lost the Week 14 clash against the Kansas City Chiefs.

If you know anything about Mehta’s writings for New York Daily News, you probably know that he enjoys slamming the Patriots while praising the New York Jets. If you don’t know him, congratulations, you’ve saved some of your brain cells.

Mehta usually writes illogical stories and discusses topics like “Spygate 4.0” and everything similar. He’s a good reporter, but the base of his stories makes us cringe.

Remember the story Bengals head coach Zac Taylor made on Monday? He discussed the Patriots employee who allegedly taped the Bengals’ sidelines during the game in Cleveland.

According to NESN’s Doug Kyed, the Patriots had a film crew at FirstEnergy Stadium to shoot a “Do Your Job’ documentary on one of their scouts. The Patriots talked about this with the Browns’ public relations department. However, the Bengals and the NFL weren’t informed. That’s why the Bengals were really suspicious when they spotted people wearing Patriots gear pointing cameras on the field. The Patriots are working with the NFL, and they have a copy of a confiscated videotape.

According to this, New England has no reason to be worried. The Patriots can’t be accused of anything because they were just doing their job. Well, Mehta wouldn’t understand this, because he is just looking for “clues.”

Of course, maybe Mehta was just trolling everybody, but we bet the Patriots nation didn’t find this amusing at all. Let’s see if he comes with a statement about the “trolling.”

The New England Patriots are playing the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, and Belichick will be more than ready for that. His game planning is great, but he will have to try even harder for the next three games, and the season is over. Will New England win the Super Bowl?
