The New England Patriots are playing the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. The only challenge related to this game is the investigation the NFL has launched into the videotaping incident that took place in Cleveland. New England finished the tough stretch of the regular season, and they have three games left. It will be easy for the Patriots to defeat Cincinnati, and the injury report provides some great news for fans.
New England didn’t rule any players out the day before they make a trip to Cincinnati.
LB Ja’Whaun Bentley, Knee
DL Byron Cowart, Concussion
WR Julian Edelman, Knee / Shoulder
OL Ted Karras, Knee
CB Jason McCourty, Groin
WR Mohamed Sanu, Ankle
DL Danny Shelton, Shoulder
The injury report didn’t get fans worried
Left tackle Isaiah Wynn missed Thursday’s practice due to an eye injury. He wasn’t added to Friday’s injury and status report. Quarterback Tom Brady deals with right elbow issues. Rookie wide receiver N’Keal Harry is dealing with a hip issue. However, these two weren’t added to the injury report.
Edelman missed Wednesday’s practice and he was a limited participant on Thursday and Friday. He decided no tot talk to media members on Friday. His knee injury is fresh, but it shouldn’t be a problem for the wide receiver.
New England plays Cincinnati on Sunday, and it will be an easy game for the Patriots. The team is coming off a two-loss string, and hopefully, they won’t stack another loss. Things don’t look too bright for the team, and this isn’t their best season. Pretty much every player had issues on the field except for Edelman. He played through injuries, and this is one of his best seasons. Although Edelman was hit in the chest area, this injury didn’t stop him from playing. He’s been in excellent shape, and we believe that Edelman will finish the season with a huge success. Same as last season. Fellow wideout Mohamed Sanu is impressed by Edelman’s toughness, and he had words of praise for him.
Will the NFL finish the investigation into the videotaping incident? We can’t wait to see the end of that drama. How will it end?
