Patriots Release Practice Injury Report At Christmas Eve Walkthrough

Having too many days off kills teams’ chance to win the Super Bowl, and Patriots head coach Bill Belichick knows it best. Belichick doesn’t really give his players a day off, and they even practice on the day before Christmas. The New England Patriots had a non-padded, low-speed walkthrough Tuesday, and players took the field in sweats while listening to some cool Christmas music. It’s that time of the year!

Three Patriots players either missed Saturday’s game against the Buffalo Bills or exited it due to an injury. Cornerback Jonathan Jones wasn’t playing due to his groin issue. Corner Jason McCourty left the game due to a groin issue, and offensive tackle Marcus Cannon went out after injuring his ankle. Each of these players was present for Tuesday’s walkthrough. Wide receiver Julian Edelman and quarterback Tom Brady were there, too. Edelman deals with knee and shoulder issues, and Brady has a sore elbow.

New England won the game against Buffalo with the help of pretty much every player on the field. The team had a lot of issues with the offense, but this group played really well on Saturday. They even got some words of praise from the GOAT. Brady was the first to complain about the lack of production from the players. He knew that they tried really hard to score points, but it didn’t work.

The Patriots are getting ready for the game against the Miami Dolphins. Miami players will arrive at Gillette Stadium for the regular-season finale. A win would lock New England into the No. 2 seed in the AFC, giving them a first-round playoff bye. The same would happen if the Kansas City Chiefs lost their game.

New England dominated the first game of the teams. They had a 43-0 win in Week 2 of the regular season. The team entered the week as commanding 16 ½ point home favorites. Miami is an easy task for the defending champions, and nothing will stop the Patriots from winning the last game of the regular season. New England is off to another Super Bowl win. Game on, Pats!
