Patriots Update On Julian Edelman’s Status Vs. Bengals

The New England Patriots are off to Cincinnati. The team is making a trip to play their last road game for the regular season. Things look really good for the Patriots, and let’s just say that the Cincinnati Bengals are an easy opponent. They have won just one game in the regular season, and that’s more than great news for the Patriots. New England released the final injury report and they listed six players as questionable for the game against the Bengals.

According to the latest injury report, defensive lineman Byron Cowart won’t join the team as he still recovers from the concussion.

Wide receiver Julian Edelman, center Ted Karras, receiver Mohamed Sanu, cornerback Jason McCourty, defensive tackle Danny Shelton and linebacker Ja’Whaun Bentley joined the team despite their uncertain status for the game.

Karras missed last Sunday’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs due to a knee injury. Having him back on the field would be of great help for the Patriots. The Bengals have a tough defensive front led by star D-tackle Geno Atkins.

Edelman missed Wednesday’s session due to his knee and shoulder issues. The wideout was limited Thursday and Friday. Edelman hasn’t missed a game this season, and this is actually his best season so far. The 33-year-old is usually better in the offseason, but his game in the past few months was brilliant.

McCourty returned last week after missing two weeks. He played just four defensive snaps in the game against Kansas City.

New England can clinch a playoff spot with a victory or tie against the Bengals, which currently fights for the No. 1 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft with three games left of the regular season.

The Patriots will play a team that has accused them of videotaping their sideline. The incident took place in Cleveland, and the Patriots’ cameraman was recording the game between the Browns and Cincinnati. This isn’t allowed, and the NFL has launched an investigation into the scandal. How will the whole thing end? Head coach Bill Belichick says his team has zero involvement in the incident. He has no reason to be worried.
