Tom Brady Reveals Whether He’ll Play Next Season

The New England Patriots sit on top of the AFC East. They defeated the Buffalo Bills last Saturday which only proves that they are the most powerful team in the National Football League. But, Patriots fans are worried about one particular problem. The 42-year-old quarterback. Tom Brady is set to become a free agent in March, and the team has yet to make a decision on his contract. TB12 will also have to make a decision on his future with the Patriots and the next season. Will he keep playing? Will he retire?

Fans would love to know whether Brady will return for his 21st season with New England. He is 42, and pretty much anything is possible. Brady keeps saying that he will play until 45. Retirement is not even an option for the quarterback at this point. But, he bought a new home in Connecticut and stepped down from his position in Best Buddies.

The six-time Super Bowl champion talked about this problem during his Westwood One interview with Jim Grady on Monday.

“I think I’ve said for a long time, my tune hasn’t changed. I hope to continue playing,” Brady told Gray. “I’ve had long-term goals, I’ve had short-term goals and again, football is a contact sport. So you never know when your last game is going to be and you count your blessings every time you walk off the field healthy.”

This doesn’t really look like an end of a career. Brady has so much to offer, and he is playing elite football. Brady is focused on helping the team win another Super Bowl. That’s the only thing that matters at the moment. Brady and his team will make another deep postseason run. Sunday’s Week 17 game against the Miami Dolphins will be important as it will determine whether the Patriots will get No.2 or 3 seed in the AFC. It’s a win for the Patriots because the Dolphins are not a threat. Head coach Bill Belichick has the winning formula for the team, and they will win the last game of the season. Game on, Patriots!
