Tom Brady Challenges Lamar Jackson After QB Sets New Rushing Record

Quarterback Tom Brady is the best quarterback in the league. Brady is also the second all-time leading passer and the only four-time Super Bowl MVP and six-time Super Bowl champion. However, the GOAT wants a shot at racing Lamar Jackson, the league’s MVP front runner who broke Michael Vick’s single season record for rushing yards by a quarterback. TB12 challenged Jackson after Jackson broke Vick’s record during Thursday night’s game against the Jets.

“Me vs Lamar, 40 Yard Dash on natural grass but he has to wear rollerblades,” Brady wrote. “Who’s buying the PPV?”

TB12 may have to receive a larger handicap if he would like to out-run Jackson. He is considered the NFL’s fastest quarterback. Jackson entered Thursday night’s game with 1,017 rushing yards, and now has more rushing yards this regular season than TB12 has in his entire professional career. The Patriots quarterback, who has rushed for a cool 32 yards this season, has rushed for 1,035 yards during his tenure with the Patriots. Brady does have 22 career touchdown runs which includes three touchdown runs on the regular season.

Lamar Jackson accepts the challenge

Brady has never been praised for his mobility and speed, but he is regarded as one of the best passers in league history, especially during the postseason. Brady has an incredible ability to read a defense and that’s one of the reasons that helped Brady stay so long in the NFL.

Brady’s challenge to the fast quarterback will have to wait until the offseason, as the Ravens and Patriots are now competing for the AFC’s No. 1 seed entering into the playoffs. When it comes to the playoffs, Jackson will try to match some of the success Brady has had during his incredible run.

Brady and the Patriots will try to win the next three games. This season is really important, and some say it’s Brady’s last season. Let’s see if that’s true. Brady has already bought a home in Connecticut. He gave up on some of his roles in his current city.

The Patriots will have to solve the problem with the Bengals first. They are now accused of videotaping their sideline. Will the NFL fine the team? It’s hard to make any prediction at the moment.
