Tom Brady Dreams Of Exchanging Jerseys With This NFL Legend One Day

Tom Brady entered the NFL in 2000. He was a sixth-round pick for the New England Patriots. Jersey-swapping wasn’t a thing back then, and players only greeted during a brief conversation after games. Today, the tradition has changed, and players like to exchange jerseys with a player of the opposing team. Joe Mixon wanted Brady’s jersey, and the GOAT wants the jersey of an NFL legend.

Mixon admitted he was too nervous to ask Brady for a jersey, but the Bengals running back got lucky and TB12 is sending him one these days.

Although Brady has been in the league for two decades, there are a lot of players he looks up to. He already has jerseys of great players, but there’s one particular NFL legend that got all his attention.

“When I first started, I wish that I would have got a lot of those because when I look back now I realize a lot of these guys are in the Hall of Fame,” Brady said Monday on Westwood One. “It is cool to have that memorabilia. Something that they wore and they went to battle with.

“Now, the swaps happen quite a bit. I have an Aaron Rodgers jersey. He’s kind of a guy that I’ve always looked up to as a player, as a person. I don’t think I have a Peyton (Manning) one. He’s someone that I’ve had so many memorable games with. Maybe we’ll exchange one year down the road.”

This is more than hilarious because Brady keeps chasing Manning’s records. Let’s be honest, he broke most of these records, and he is about to finish the challenge before retiring.

When it comes to retirement, Brady doesn’t even mention that. The Patriots quarterback gives blunt responses when asked about his future with the Patriots. He bought a new home and also stepped down from some of his responsibilities in Boston. According to him, this doesn’t mean a thing, because Brady is just following a pathway. His kids are older, and he needs to think of so many things. In my opinion, Brady will play a few more seasons with the Pats.
