Watch: Kyle Van Noy Calls Patriots Playoff Path a ‘Revenge Tour’

The New England Patriots lost the game to the Miami Dolphins. It was an unexpected loss for Tom Brady’s team, but it happened. For the first time in recent memory, the Patriots missed a chance to enjoy their first-round bye in the NFL playoffs. They lost the regular-season finale to the Miami Dolphins, and the Kansas City Chiefs jumped over the Patriots for the No. 2 seed in the AFC. Before the end of last season, the Patriots claimed they were underdogs despite their five trophies. Well, they have a brand new slogan now, and Patriots linebacker Kyle Van Noy revealed it. According to him, this year’s playoff path is actually a Revenge Tour.

“We have a chance to go on a revenge tour, and what better way than to start off with Tennessee who we lost to last year?” Van Noy said. “(It’s) a big motivation. We weren’t happy about our performance, and they’re coming into our house. What better way than to get it started for the playoffs?”

What makes this run a revenge tour?

“You’ve just gotta look at who we can play,” the Patriots linebacker replied.

The Patriots start off with the Tennessee Titans, who smashed them last year. If Tom Brady’s team wins this game, they  will play Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City CHiefs, who one game earlier this month. It looks like the AFC Championship Game will be played in Baltimore. The Patriots didn’t have a great time in Baltimore in November.

We’re excited,” Van Noy said. “What a great way to start off the playoffs playing a good team like this in the environment that we’re going to have. We’re excited for this challenge.”

Things don’t look too good for the Patriots as everyone hoped that the team will earn a first-round bye. Well, they will have to go the hard way and that’s not too bad. New England is ready for great challenges, and they are off to another Super Bowl win. How will they finish the regular season? With a win, of course. Can’t wait for this to happen. Game on, Pats!
