Watch: Stephon Gilmore Makes 64-Yard Interception Return

The New England Patriots are playing the last road game for the season, and the Cincinnati Bengals have zero chance against Tom Brady and his team. Oh wait, Stephon Gilmore is the star of the show.

The Cincinnati Bengals had a tiny lead in the first half of the game, but the Patriots came back in shape in the second half. Andy Dalton was unable to target Cincinnati’s top receiver Tyler Boyd, and Gilmore has a role in that one.

Dalton tried to connect with Boyd on the Bengals’ opening drive of the third quarter and his pass was intercepted by Gilmore who did his magic with just one hand. This was his fifth pick of the regular season.

Gilmore did it again, and head coach Bill Belichick is really proud of him. Boyd can’t go against Gilmore in this game. His three targets ended with two Gilmore interceptions, including a pick-six.

According to ESPN, Gilmore is the first Patriots player with multiple pick-sixes in a season since Tedy Bruschi in 2003. This is also Gilmore’s third career multi-interception game and his first with the Patriots.

New England and Cincinnati traded three-and-outs after Gilmore’s pick-six. Sony Michel fumbled for New England on third-and-1 but could recover on time.

The Bengals’ four drives singe halftime ended with three interceptions and three-and-out.

J.C. Jackson had the latest pick. He snagged an overthrown deep ball to Alex Erickson and barely got both feet down in bounds.

This is an incredible game, and the Patriots needed this to recover from their two losses. Brady doesn’t like losing games, and the same applies to his teammates. New England will do the impossible to win games, and they have all the talent to do magic on the field. Too bad that doubters hate them despite all the success New England had in the past decade.

In the last attempt to trash New England, Cincinnati blames the team for sending a scout to record the sideline in Cleveland. The NFL launched an investigation, but it has yet to make a decision on the Patriots. Will they be fined for the incident?
