Cris Collinsworth Makes Insane Prediction On Tom Brady’s Future

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady finished his 20th season with the New England Patriots a little earlier than usual. The defending champions missed the chance to win another Super Bowl, and they are off to the 2020 season. Will Brady join the team in March? He is set to become free agent, and analysts have made a prediction regarding his future plans. NBC analyst Cris Collinsworth said Brady’s time with the Patriots has come to an end.

According to Collinsworth, Brady will leave the Patriots in free agency and will sign with the Los Angeles Chargers. That’s his guess. Collinsworth says the Chargers will move on from Philip Rivers in the next period.

“All it would be for me is a guess, and I don’t like to guess without a little insider information, but let’s just say there are a few teams out there that would love a little extra help in selling tickets,” Collinsworth said. “And we’ve seen Peyton Manning, at the end of his career, make a move and win a Super Bowl. And I know the Joe Namath stories, and I know the Joe Montana stories and I know all those things.

“I’m just telling you, I know there are people who think Tom Brady’s finished. I did not see that this year. I think he plays again. I think he plays well.”

Co-host Al Michaels asked Collinsworth if he believes Brady will return to the Patriots.

“I don’t,” Collinsworth said. “… If I had to guess, how about a wild guess? How about the Chargers. … I’m just saying, if there was one franchise that could use him the most, if Rivers goes, never know.”

Brady’s team finished the season with a 20-13 loss to the Titans. This was the least expected scenario for the team, but they are already planning the next season.

After the wild-card loss, Brady said he is unlikely to retire. That’s pretty much everything he said about his future. Every Patriots fan hopes to see Brady back in the mix next season. Losing the superstar would be a nightmare for the team. Come back, Brady!
