LeBron Reaches Another Big Milestone After POTW Honor

LeBron James is in his 17th NBA season, and he plays his best basketball. LeBron leads the Los Angeles Lakers to a big title this season, and his game is serious. The king of basketball has enjoyed great success so far, and he leads the NBA in assists. He has never done that in his professional career. LeBron’s triple-doubles have helped the team win games, and the Lakers are 29-7 at this point of the regular season. This past week, King James won Western Conference Player of the Week honors, and this speaks volumes for his success on the floor. He hit another milestone after receiving his POTW honors.

LeBron joined legends. Tim Reynolds reported that LeBron is the seventh player to receive this award in three different decades. He joined the group of Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, John Stockton, Karl Malone, Kevin Garnett and Tim Duncan.

Carmelo Anthony, Vince Carter, Dwight Howard and Chris Paul still have a chance to do this.

LeBron won’t stop here. He won’t stop until he wins a title with Los Angeles. He is the first player to score 30,000 points, 9,000 rebounds and 9,000 assists. In a few seasons from now, LeBron will be able to pass the great Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for first on the all-time scoring list. Yes, he has moments of decline, but his game is impeccable. Pretty much every player has ups and downs, and LeBron keeps going up. He keeps hitting milestones and winning games.

LeBron is 35, but there’s no stopping for him. He missed the chance to win a title last season, but he won’t miss the chance this season. He is hungry for a title. The Los Angeles Lakers haven’t won a title since Kobe Bryant’s time with the team. They were at the bottom of the conference, and now they own the very top. Let’s see what happens by the end of the season. Anthony Davis is here, and he will help LeBron keep his promise. Hopefully, the Lakers will give him a nice offer this spring. They need him on the floor in October.
